Brand Background of CPI Refrigeration Oil
CPI is the world's largest supplier and market leader of synthetic refrigerated compressor oils. CPI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lubrizol, the world's most famous fluid technology company and the world's largest lubricant additives company. CPI has three world-class research centres in the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom, and invests large sums of money in research and development every year.
CPI refrigeration oils are specifically designed for refrigeration systems, including air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and industrial refrigeration applications. These oils are widely recognised as having excellent chemical and thermal stability and are compatible with a wide range of refrigerants, including Freon (e.g. R134a, R404A, R410A) and ammonia (R717) CPI offers a product line covering a wide range of refrigeration oils, such as mineral oils, alkylbenzene oils, polyalphaolefins (PAOs), polyesters (POEs) and polyethylene glycols (PAGs). Main Series of CPI Refrigeration Oils.
Working Principle of CPI Refrigeration Oil
1. Dynamic sealing effect
CPI refrigeration oil can form a dynamic seal between the screw and the compression chamber as well as the yin and yang screws to reduce the leakage of refrigerant from the high pressure side to the low pressure side during the compression process.
2. Cooling effect
Inside the compressor, refrigeration oil is sprayed to absorb the heat generated by the refrigerant gas in the process of compression and reduce the exhaust temperature.
3. Lubrication
CPI refrigeration oil forms a film of oil between the bearings and screws to support the rotor and lubricate it.
4. Energy regulation
Through the oil pressure of refrigeration oil, it can drive the capacity adjustment system, through the action of the compressor loading and unloading solenoid valve, adjust the position of the tolerance slider, and realise the capacity adjustment control of the compressor.
The characteristics of CPI refrigeration oil are as follows:
Chemical stability: CPI Refrigeration Oil has superior chemical stability and is resistant to the effects of metals and refrigerants in the system.
Lubricity: CPI Refrigeration Oil is refined from selected naphthenic crude oils using a special process that ensures excellent lubricity.
Cleanliness: The use of CPI Refrigeration Oil reduces valve deposits, reduces the likelihood of downtime and keeps the compressor clean.
Low temperature performance: CPI refrigeration oil has good solubility of R22 and R502 to enhance low temperature performance.
Oil return: CPI-4700 series refrigeration oils have good oil return and are suitable for use in refrigeration compressors with R22, R12 and R502 as the working fluid.
Thermal stability: CPI-4700 series refrigeration oils have good thermal and oxidative stability, and are suitable for refrigerators and air-conditioning refrigeration equipment with Freon as refrigerant.
System efficiency: CPI-4700 series refrigeration oils can improve system efficiency, have a low tendency to generate foam, have a low flocculation point and outstanding compatibility.
